Teaching Conversational English
As After You's first self-started project, we recognize a need for fluency in conversational English. It can’t be understated just how crucial English literacy is in life, from social media etiquette to deciphering fake news.
While there are plenty of online resources to learn English, there are few that let learners apply their knowledge (especially for free!).
This opportunity is for anyone looking to make international friends and expand their understanding of other cultures. Additionally, these calls are a chance for you to internalize your own experiences as you share your culture with others.
These calls—rather than being called “lessons”—are intended to be casual and conversation-driven rather than formal classes. There’s no homework, no books, no required readings.
As such, there are no required skills for this role! You just have to be human.
